7th turntec: Dec. 3-5, 2008, Frankfurt Exhibition Center
Today, for the 7th time in a row turntec, the International Trade Fair for Turned Parts, Turning and Milling Technology opens it gates at Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. Dec. 3-5, 2008, 110 international exhibitors will show the entire process chain – “From raw materials to the lathes, to the tool and accessories to the finished part.”
With 40.9 percent exhibitors from abroad turntec 2008 has increased it’s already high internationality (2007: 32.6 % foreign exhibitors). Among foreign exhibitors the leading countries are Italy (11.8 %), fol-lowed by Spain (8.2 %), Switzerland and France (each 5.5 %). Fur-thermore international exhibitors come from Sweden, Taiwan, India and China. From the U.S. the well known Central Screw Products Co., Inc, Detroit, presents its services and products. Within the category of exhibitors that take part at turntec for the first time, numerous companies come from Italy and Spain.
For the 4th time in a raw the Spanish corporate stand will attract an interested and qualified audience. For the first time turntec presents the corporate stand precision parts with specialised companies from Italy, Germany and Belgium.
The turntec award will be assigned to companies which distinguished for advanced and trendsetting technologies. Awards in gold, silver and bronze will be bestowed upon to the three most innovative exhibitors on the trade`s first day, Wednesday Dec 3, 2008, at the exhibitors party, which starts at 7 p.m. with the motto “The hall is having a party”.
Furthermore on the “Day for Purchasers”, Thursday, Dec. 4, interesting lectures for that special target group can be attended. Also all exhibitors have the possibility to present their company and services to a qualified audience at the Exhibitor Lecture Forum. Topics are webbased procurement-processes, oily and chemical binders, methods of pipe-handling, procurement of turned parts, selecting suppliers, a system for informing exhibitors and a business contact-plattform.
Well established is the online service turntec-m-check which has been introduced in 2006. On www.turntec-m-check.de information about all exhibitors are available, also business contacts can be made. Via eMail Information and requests can be sent.
